I also use part vodka, part ice water for my crust. But I also switch around and use vinegar and ice water too; it makes a flaky, really delicious pie crust too. I’ve never tried all butter for the shortening but I do use half butter half good old fashioned lard and that makes the very best of crusts! Never had a failure and perfect crust too!
