We encourage you to try using some of the tips we've outlined here with your next gluten-free apple pie, Marilyn. We've haven't found a large gap to quite as common of a problem when baking gluten-free since the crust is quite delicate and tends to rise and fall with the apples. However, try doing some of the other things we've suggested like pre-cooking your filling and/or using sturdy apples. The final result with be worth your hard work! Kye@KAF
