We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed this recipe, Andrea! We wonder if maybe the oven was running a bit too hot or if the cookies were baked on a dark-colored pan? This can cause the bottom of the cookies to brown more than expected and the surface of the cookies to set before they have a chance to spread outwards. We might suggest lowering the oven temperature to 350°F to see if that helps. Happy baking!
