This recipe and the blog bakealong look fabulous, but could I omit the apple mixture for one of the two twists, use cinnamon and sugar only, do the twist and bake this in a 13x4x4 Pullman pan without the lid? I'd like to share with a neighbor, but they don't like apples! Thanks for another great recipe :)
