You're welcome to try switching up the filling slightly, Rosa. If you'd like a rich cream cheese filling, consider borrowing the filling part of our Raspberry Cream Cheese Braid. The filling is stabilized with an egg and thickener, as it's jazzed up with some flavorful ingredients like vanilla and salt. Apply a thin layer of the filling to your rolled out dough and then shape and bake as directed. Avoid over-filling the dough, as it'll be difficult to shape and handle. Good luck and happy baking!
