I have been making these muffins for several years and they are terrific; the smiles I get when I bring them to friends tells the tale. I always made them with the granulated sugar on top and that was fine; they were delicious but a couple of years ago I got an idea to top them with a streusel topping and it seemed to take them up a notch. Of course that is strictly my opinion and my friends tell me they like the change. So I only mention this as a possible alternative. Either way they are the "CAT'S MEOW"
