Is there a typo in this post? In the third paragraph under the heading “Curved Blade,” it says the cuts should be between 1” and 1/2” deep. Then a few paragraphs down it refers to a “deeper” cut of 1/2 inch. This makes me think that maybe the earlier reference should have said “between 1/4 and 1/2 inch.” I’m a bread making beginner so little inconsistencies like this can be confusing.
