I like to be mindful of energy use and did not like the 30 minute preheat most recipes call for. So I tried this "cold start" method with my Le Creuset Bread Oven dish and it worked great! It made the same loaf of bread - maybe better than the other method. Please promote this method if you try it and it works for you! Thank you for this post!
