I braved it and tried the no knead sourdough recipe in the EH bread/potato pot. When I took it out of refrigerator I let it sit 30 mins then shaped and put in pot. Let proof with lid on for about 2.5 hours. Put pot in cold oven and heated to 450. Baked 45 mins after it hit temperature then removed lid. Only needed about 3 mins after removing lid to finish. Wow was I surprised!! May be my most beautiful loaf yet. Wish I could post pictures. Thank you for this tip. No more burns trying to get my loaf into a preheated pot!!
