I am currently baking my first No Knead Bread in the pot, using the cold oven method. After reading the instructions, I am confused about the following phrase: "Once everything is fully preheated, start the baking time (usually about 25 to 35 minutes)." Does "Usually about 25 to 35 minutes" refer to the time it will take to 'preheat everything', OR to the baking time? It seems to me that after 25 minutes of preheating the bread must be half baked already. Adding the full amount of baking time (35-40 minutes for this recipe), sounds like it would be way too long, resulting in an overcooked bread.
