I have a Cuisinart dutch oven and it says it's good up to 500 degrees. User manual says to put a cold DO in a cold oven and preheat together. If it says to preheat DO for 30 minutes is that from the time I put the cold DO in the cold oven or from the time it reaches temperature? (I feel like I answered my own question or that it's obvious, but I don't want to ruin the pan, the oven, or the bread!)
