Hi Susan, I'm sorry that you have not been successful with the cold Dutch oven technique. You shouldn't need to change a recipe in order to bake it in a cold or pre-heated Dutch oven. Please call our Baker's Hotline at 855-371-2253 so that we can steer you onto the path to success.
