Would love to see you do this comparison and show the results in a photo. The hot oven/cold oven photo you use shows no visible difference, so I'm very curious about your statement here. When you do these comparisons, could you show the crust as well as the crumb, please?

I'm a senior with arthritis. It is so much easier to handle a cold pot in a cold oven, but if results from a cold pot in a hot oven are really worthwhile, I would attempt that. I simply can't manage the hot oven/hot pot method.
