No worries, Kat, I'm with you on this! I prefer a lighter color on my baguettes so I find that lowering the temperature just by 25°F helps to still give me a great final rise and golden crust, but the edges don't become scorched. Your other option is to leave the temperature as is and cover the loaves with foil at the 15-minute mark. Happy baking! Annabelle@KAF
