Didi, why not just use 8 ounces of your fed starter in place of the poolish — would that work for you? Or yes, you could do as you suggest; the additional liquid/flour in the 2 tablespoons of starter isn't going to make enough difference for you to have to adjust the flour/liquid ratio in the dough.
