Hi there, Soudabeth! We're not too sure what your question is here — do you mean what is the best way to add mix-ins to a recipe? If so, we suggest folding them into the cake batter after you've fully incorporated all the other ingredients. If this isn't what you meant, please do let us know! Happy baking! Morgan@KAF
