I came here looking for help with my KA sourdough pancakes. I am using the recipe that came with the booklet included with my KA starter. These are the best waffles I have ever made, but I am struggling to get the pancakes right. I am careful not to over mix with the morning finish and only mix the overnight starter enough to get starter distributed well with flour and buttermilk. They come out tough every time and sometimes seem under cooked, even though bubbles pop and dry around edges. I never press on them and cook at 325. I love the flavor and want to get these right! Any suggestions welcome,
please! I love all things KA and am thoroughly enjoying my sourdough adventure and my KA cookbook! Thank you for everything you do!
