I loved reading all of these Oops-es! I was making my mom's traditional Kulich for Christmas gifts for my neighbors. It was going to be a beautiful batch of 3 loaves. They rose beautifully in my new oven that "proofed" bread. Then, I put them in to bake but I started smelling burned bread 10 minutes into the baking cycle. This is what happens when the top element does not turn off but instead, "broils" for the entire cycle! Result was a new oven. /Users/maxineennis/Desktop/Nailed It.jpg
