I have Hashimoto and decided to switch to almond flour. I dont understand , why is almond flour added to regular plain flour or plain to almond flour? I see some recipes requiring that. Also when recipe calls for butter, can extra virgin olive oil be used in place of the butter?

Is almond flour good for baking banana nut bread?
