Hi there, Hannah! Almond flour doesn't have the same baking properties as wheat flour, it they can't be used as a 1:1 substitute.  If the recipe you're following doesn't call for yeast, you might consider checking out our Paleo Baking Flour which is grain-free and can be used as a 1:1 replacement for all-purpose flour.
