Sorry Kat, we can see why that would be confusing! It depends on the type of recipe you're making. In the case of yeasted recipes like rolls, you're adding the almond flour to the wheat flour and keeping the amount of wheat flour the same. For non-yeasted recipes like cookies or brownies, you're substituting for some of the wheat flour, and would then want to subtract from the original amount of wheat flour called for.
