I have a favorite apple cake recipe that I'm trying to make heartier so it's more of a breakfast/meal. Since you're kind enough to reply to comments, I wanted to ask how I might sub the flour for almond flour in this recipe. Would it be possible to do 100% almond flour, or would that invite disaster?
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3 c. white flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 med. apples (1 lb.)
6 egg whites
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
