Hi Cathy! What a delicious recipe. If the dough was too sticky or wet, that could stem from a number of things. Excess moisture in the starter or even the atmosphere can make a dough sticky. We would suggest holding back a touch of water next time you make this...perhaps using 1/2 cup of liquid to start. If the dough is too dry still after mixing, add that water a teaspoon at a time until the proper consistency is reached. That can help create a dough that works wonderfully in your kitchen.
