I've been making this bread since receiving the cookbook in 1986, but could never figure out spreading the butter mixture on the entire loaf and rolling it up in a spiral resulted in a stuck-together loaf. My loaves taste great but don't look like a slice of bread. Your suggestion is exactly what I've needed all these years, and this will be the next bread I bake. Thanks!
