Thank you for the interesting article on one of my favorite breads! My “go to” banana bread recipe is my late mother’s favorite. She got it off of the Crystal Sugar bag back in the day. Of course it has way too much sugar for my taste (1 and a half cups!) so I cut it back to 1 cup and it still tastes plenty sweet. I mention it here because I didn’t see it amongst the wonderful recipes submitted here. I make this recipe a lot, baking it in several sized pans, especially the smaller pans to make individual loaves for each of my grandkids. We recently moved to a new home in a new development, and as each new neighbor moved in, I gave them each some banana bread as a welcoming gift. They all loved this recipe.
