Your post made me curious about baking powder so I looked it up - never realized it was just baking soda mixed with an acid salt, to get a similar reaction to that of mixing baking soda with yogurt or buttermilk. Fascinating! I just bought bananas, so now hoping they will be just right to try this recipe next weekend. I mostly make banana snack cake or muffins with chocolate chips, so looking forward to trying this, sliced with butter or cream cheese. I recently expanded my pan collection with this size loaf pan, so am really happy with this timely recipe to try it out. Thank you, it is always a joy to read your blogs!
