Hi Pamela! We recommend taking an internal temperature of the bread before removing it from the oven. It should be at least 190 degrees at the very center. While there are slicing guides for the home bread baker, these would just have notches for you to make a slice and not assist much with the mechanical action of slicing. Commercial bread slicers would be your next best bet here. While this would be a large investment upfront, this would do all the work of slicing the bread evenly. Happy baking!
