We're here M-F from 9am-9pm EST, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm EST. If your cast iron chicken fryer is at least 4 quarts, it should still work fine for most standard sized bread recipes. If you're worried about preheating your French Dutch oven empty, you might want to consider either placing the pot and dough together in a preheated oven (remove the lid about 25 minutes into the bake), or trying our Cold Start method. With either of these methods you want to grease the pot well, or line with greased parchment paper, to prevent the dough from sticking to the pot.
