I plan to bake today. Could I use a cast iron chicken fryer in lieu of a Dutch oven, or will the flatter lid be a problem? I could try a small portion loaf. I have a French Dutch oven, but I’ve never tried heating it empty at such a hot temperature. What do you suggest?
