Hi there, Sandra! We're sorry to hear that you're having a bit of trouble with the crust on the bottom of your loaves! You can certainly try lightly greasing the vessel and sprinkling it with cornmeal or semolina. You might also try placing the pot on a baking sheet to help insulate the bottom a bit more. We hope this helps!
