This also works well in a clay pot if you still have one in the back of a closet. Soak top and bottom for half an hour before adding the dough, cover and place in a cold oven turning the temperature to 450. Bake covered for 20 minutes remove cover and continue to bake until brown and crusty. The pot steams the bread nicely.
