As mentioned elsewhere, you can just pick up the dough using the parchment paper and drop it all into the hot Dutch Oven. I've started to do that all the time because I began to have bad sticking. Your method of unsticking is exactly what I developed and it wasn't that satisfactory when having to rip the loaf out and leaving some , as you say. The parchment paper does indeed make some irrgularities in the loaf, but I don't really think it's a detraction. My question is: If I want to nonstick spray and cornmeal, at what stage would i do that: after of before the preheating?
