Faith, if you happen to have a cast iron pan that's a different shape, you're welcome to use it if has a lid. (The lid is key and helps trap steam.) Also be sure that your dough only fills the pot about halfway before letting it rise and baking it; otherwise, it's likely to overflow the pan. Good luck!
