My sister and I camp for two weeks every summer and although I do the daily cooking, she is our camp baker. She uses our cast-iron Dutch oven for everything from brownies to cakes, cornbread to pizza, you name it. Because we cook over a wood fire we use a baking rack in the bottom of the pot to keep the food from scorching. It is wonderful having fresh-baked goodies while in the great outdoors.
