Candy, to prepare these kinds of Dutch ovens, the pots should typically be preheated first (empty). Then when you're ready to add the dough, spray a bit of non-stick vegetable oil onto the bottom and sides of the pot. Be aware that the pot might smoke a bit when you do this step; you can wait a minute or two for the pot to cool slightly to avoid this. I like to sprinkle a bit of semolina flour into the bottom before adding the dough for extra insurance. Alternately, you can use a piece of parchment paper to lift the dough into the pot, and leave it in during baking. All great options worth trying! Kye@KAF
