I've made this recipe twice and I'm afraid this second time is not going to be any better. The first time it didn't raise like it should have and it was very dense and hard. Second time, I made the levain and it bubbled up like it was supposed to, I think, added it to the dough along with the salt. When it said in the directions, to put it in the fridge after doing the other steps, I did that but by 18 hrs, it hadn't raised hardly at all. Not sure what to do so I left it on my table to hopefully raise more and it's been 8+ hours and I don't see much change. My starter worked great two days ago for another recipe so it doesn't seem like it's the starter. Any suggestions? Thanks
