Reminds me of the first cake I ever baked when I was in college. Baked it for a friends birthday got the recipe from his mom it was his favorite cake. Called for one cup of cold coffee. So I dutifully put one cup of ground coffee in the freezer to get it good and cold and then added it to the recipe. You guessed it cake turned out completely inedible … But the dog liked it lol
