Hi Arlene, I can't speak to the other sugar substitutes you mentioned, but since this blog was published we've developed a new product, our Baking Sugar Alternative, which works great in muffin recipes. To use this product in your favorite muffin recipe, substitute cup for cup (not by weight) for the sugar called for in the recipe. Baked goods tend to brown up and bake a little faster when using the BSA, so check about 3/4 of the way through the normal baking time.
