Based on the article, for every one cup of flour, use 5 tbsp of sugar for 50 percent sweetness. At this level, the sugar taste is less dominant in the muffin and you can taste the other ingredients more (butter, flour, etc). 6 tbsp of sugar per cup of flour is 60 percent, 7 tbsp per cup of flour is 70 percent. At these level, the sugar is more dominant.
