I confess to being a bundt novice, mostly due to being afraid of the horror stories about sticking.

I've been seeing the "Goop" recipes on social media for a little bit and decided to try one with the Lemon Bliss bundt. A half a cup each of shortening, vegetable oil and flour all blitzed in the processor.

I used a very thin coat as advised and the cake turned right out of the pan with no loosening needed. The pan I used was from a pan set we received when we got married, very plain almost a smooth half tube. Since it turned out so well I bought "Party Bundt" pan and had the same results when I tried it. This is now my "It Ain't Broke" method!
