I learned to bake from my mother who was a home economist and teacher... She used finely ground white bread crumbs when preparing the bunt pan for any kind of cake. This method produces a nice smooth non glossy cake and just about always releases really well. I use mostly store bought plain crumbs. Thanks for the nice article!!
