When I use a plain bunt pan with no grooves, just a classics tube in the middle, I spray the pan with vegetable oil, then put parchment paper around the tube & repeat those steps with the sides and bottom of the pan. No flour, no sticking. It does take longer to prepare the pan by cutting the parchment paper to form, but worth it in the end because nothing gets stuck to the pan.
