This seems to work best with the bundt pans that are not intricate. There are more decorative pans now require more "magic" to have the baked cake come out of the pan successfully. It has been recommended that an equal amount of flour, oil, and shortening mixed together and brushed into all those nooks and crannies is the way to go.
