I found found the end all, be all for releasing any cakes and muffins - cake release. You can make a homemade version found on Google or you can purchase it. A baking company makes it. I won't name it here because I love KA too much. I brush the inside of muffin tins, loaf pans, bundt cake pans, etc. with a pastry brush. Everything slides right out. I've been baking at home for twenty years and just now discovered it. Sad!
