I got the party bundt pan for 2017 Year of the Bundt, and have had SO MANY disasters trying to get the cake out. Earlier today, I opened up a compressed bale of straw, which was strapped with these plastic straps you sometimes get on a shipping box. Later, my cake was stuck again. I was trying to think of something I could use to slide down the side of the pan to release the cake but that was small enough & flexible enough to go down each rib without breaking up the cake or scratching the pan. I thought of that strapping tape in the recycling, got out a piece about 8 inches long, cut one end into a rounded shape, and slide the rounded end down each rib of the pan. ¡Qué milagra! It worked perfectly! I’m saving the strapping tape. I took pictures of my explanation doesn’t make sense.
