I used this recipe in my mini fluted bundt pan from Pampered Chef and I'd never seen the sugar method before. It was a perfect crust! I am going to box these as gifts for my co-workers!

I also used our cake tester and Releaser, which won't scratch pans, is small and handy and reasonably priced.

But. We also always say NEVER use Pam in your non stick pans, because it ruins the non stick surfaces because it actually clings. Also, one tip I use sometimes is to reserve a tad of the actual cake mix, if using boxed, to dust your pan, then you can't see the dusting.
