The recipe I used today (Butter Pecan) called for spraying the Bundt pan with butter spray then coating with sugar. After cooking and letting it cool for about 6 minutes, I inverted it onto a platter and two big cracks appeared! This cake is for a benefit -- to be auctioned off! HOW can I get the cake to stay together so that the cracks don't show? I've looked at all the suggestions for "cracked cakes" but haven't seen any way to hide these cracks, as there is NO frosting (the sugared outside is slightly hard). I'm considering using plastic wrap tightly around the cake but not sure about that. Any suggestions?
