I have a single piece angel food tube pan and over the years have solved the problem of getting cakes out of it. I take a 9" parchment paper round and fold it in half and then half again. I cut out the tip of the cone where the four quarters come together, then make little cuts into the circle remaining. I end up with a donut shaped round of parchment I slide down over the tube and into the bottom of the pan. After the cake is baked I use a sharp thin knife to loosen the sides and around the tube. The parchment on the bottom makes sure the bottom does not stick. Works very well for both angel food and pound cakes.
