Thanks! This post brought back some wonderful memories. I learned to make strudel from my Hungarian grandmother many years ago: apple, cheese, cabbage, and even blueberry. It is well worth the effort! She was very fussy about the flour she used. I remember it had to be either King Arthur flour or Heckers. Your recipe is a little different from mine.
