Clipped the Lemon Bliss Cake recipe from a 2017 KA catalogue and happily finally baked it yesterday. My question: the called for 3/4 t of lemon oil seems like a lot. I had only lemon extract on hand, and the typical conversion is 1/8 t lemon oil to 1 t extract, which would mean 6 t extract for this recipe. That feels huge! Compromised with 2 t extract and 1 T lemon zest, which gave a distinct yet delicate lemon flavor. Your thoughts?
